Whilst our museum has a large collection of objects, we are always looking to fill gaps in the collection.
Below is information on our collection policy.

The collecting areas include:
• Objects, photographs and documents associated with John and Elizabeth Maley’s occupancy of Home Cottage, Greenough, or associated with their business and social interests in the Midwest region (1860-1917);
• Objects, photographs and documents associated with the family of John and Elizabeth Maley during their occupancy of Home Cottage, Greenough, (1863-1932);
• Photographs and documents associated with the Maley family (and their descendants) after they ceased residing at Home Cottage, Greenough;
• Objects, photographs and documents associated with Frederic and Nellie Rudduck’s occupancy of Wonga Park, Greenough, or associated with their social interests in the region (1932-1961);
• Photographs and documents associated with Peter and Pat Rudduck’s occupancy of Wonga Park, Greenough (1961-1968);
• Objects associated with the history and development of the Front Greenough Flats between 1850 and 1932;
• Photographs, documents and ephemera associated with the history and development of the Front Greenough Flats between 1850 and today;
• Books and other publications containing information associated with the history and development of the Front Greenough Flats;
• Photographs, documents and ephemera associated with the history and development of the Greenough Pioneer Museum between 1966 and today.
