The children of John M. Maley and Ethel (nee Clinch)
1. Jean Morrison Maley was born on 4 June 1897. From the age of 14 she brought up her siblings after the death of her mother. In April 1923, Jean married Frederick Blood in Perth. Lived at Murchison House Station for about 25 years. Children: Lorna Joan & Frederick Morrison (twins), Muriel Beatrice, Cecil John, Allan and Irene Patricia. Died 1976.
2. George Morrison Maley was born in October 1899. Station-hand on Chilimoney Station near Northampton in 1917. Enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 27 December 1917, serving in the 10th Light Horse Regiment in Egypt. Discharged on 18 August 1919; received the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. Farmer in Yandanooka and later a farmer/farmhand in Three Springs. In 1937, he married Margaret Meta May Barbour (b.1911, d.21 October 2007) at Leederville.
Children: James, Robert, William & David.
Worked in mines at Youanmi and Kalgoorlie. Retired to the Perth suburb of Manning. George died on 8 January 1976 and his ashes were interred at Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth.
3. Kenneth Morrison Maley was born on 15 October 1900. In 1928 he married Janet Jean Drage (b.1909, d. 27 May 1976) in Northampton. Children: Betty Cynthia & Robert Dale. Farmer/Sharefarmer in Three Springs and then West Perenjori 1935-1939. Resided in Northampton prior to enlisting in the Australian Army on 27 July 1940. Private in the 2/28 Battalion during World War II. Discharged on 18 September 1945. Later resided in Perth. Died 13 August 1967; ashes scattered in the Rose Garden at the Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth.
4. Cecil Morrison Maley was born on 10 March 1902. He worked as a farmhand on Parakalia Farm in Three Springs, and later as a farmer in Three Springs. In 1927, Cecil married Genevieve Sarah Howard (b. 21 March 1905, d.2005). Children: Fay Mary, John Morrison, Genevieve Ethel, Morris, Stanley Morrison & Frederick Morrison. Private in Three Springs' local Volunteer Defence Corps during World War II. After retiring from farming resided in Three Springs. Cecil died on 8 February 1985 and is buried in the Three Springs General Cemetery.
5. Beatrice Alma Morrison Maley was born in 1903 at Greenough. Trained as a nurse. Matron at the Geraldton Hospital and during WWII was Matron at Boulder. On 27 October 1942 she married George Hinde Tournay (b.c1909) at Kalgoorlie. Died 17 December 1983 at Bunbury.
6. Kathleen Mary Maley was born in 1905. Died 12 January 1907 and buried in Geraldton.
7. Muriel Morrison Maley was born in 1906. Married Wilfred Burton. Died 19 July 1990.
8. Oscar Morrison Maley was born in 1908 and died on 26 December 1908. He is buried in the Greenough Cemetery.
9. Ethel Morrison Maley was born on 26 April 1910 at Geraldton. After the death of her mother, Ethel was raised by her aunt, Sara Maley at Parakalia Farm in Three Springs. Married Norman James Shute. Children: Brian, Robert, Margaret, Carmel, Mary & Theresa Norma. Resided at Big Bell, then at Three Springs. Died 15 August 2003 and buried in the Three Springs General Cemetery.
